Custom Software License Agreement

This Custom Software License Agreement ("Agreement") governs the use of software products ("Software") developed and distributed by Pawel Pliousnin Digital Solutions ("Licensor") for Magento and Adobe Commerce, unless a product package states a different license.

This Agreement applies to current and future PPL Magento / Adobe Commerce extensions, including but not limited to search, discovery, tracking and privacy, reports, action widgets, dashboards, order metrics, checkout utilities, development tools and foundation modules.

TYPO3 exception: PPL Rights Management for TYPO3 is not distributed under this commercial PPL commerce license. It is licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later. See the TYPO3 license page for that product.

1. License Grant

The Software is licensed, not sold. Upon valid purchase, installation or permitted acquisition, the Licensee is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the Software on the Licensee's own Magento / Adobe Commerce systems.

The Licensee may modify the Software for internal business purposes only, provided that all license restrictions remain respected.

2. Restrictions

The Licensee may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, lease, share or otherwise make the Software available to third parties.
  • Publish the Software in public repositories, open downloads, package mirrors or other public distribution channels.
  • Remove or alter copyright, branding, proprietary notices or license notices.
  • Use the Software to create a competing commercial product by repackaging or redistributing substantially similar code.

3. Ownership

All rights, title and intellectual property rights in and to the Software remain the exclusive property of Pawel Pliousnin Digital Solutions. This Agreement does not transfer ownership of the Software.

4. Support and Updates

Support, updates and maintenance, if any, are provided according to the terms defined at the time of purchase, subscription, marketplace listing or separate written agreement.

5. Termination

This license terminates automatically if the Licensee violates any material term of this Agreement. Upon termination, the Licensee must cease use of the Software and remove copies from systems where continued use is not permitted.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pawel Pliousnin Digital Solutions shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, revenue or business arising from use of the Software.

8. Compliance and Operation

The Licensee is responsible for operating Magento / Adobe Commerce, hosting, cron, caching, indexing, privacy settings, consent settings, security patches and third-party integrations in a lawful and secure manner.
